Temporary Assistant for Open Child and Youth Work (60%)
What you will achieve with us
- Supporting open child and youth work in the areas of Kehrsatz and Schliern (co-leading the youth centre, conducting theme-specific activities and projects, etc.).
- Encouraging, accompanying and actively involving children and young people in leisure activities
- Providing supportive assistance with interventions in public spaces when required
- Raising awareness and supporting children and young people, and triaging when necessary
- Maintaining collaboration with schools, neighbourhood organisations, churches, specialist and administrative offices
- Active cross-area exchange and coordination within the open child and youth work team
How you will inspire us
- Diploma in sociocultural animation, social pedagogy, social work or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in open child and youth work
- Ability to quickly build trusting and professional relationships with children and young people
- Teamwork skills, resilience and determination when necessary
- Willingness to work on Friday evenings and occasionally at weekends
