The dreischiibe Foundation is an innovative, non-profit social enterprise. In our versatile service and commercial centres in Herisau, St. Gallen and Flawil, we create professional and personal perspectives for people with mental health challenges at 220 work, training and integration places. In the day centre and meeting centre in St. Gallen, we promote social integration with 63 visitor places.
For the succession of the current post holder, we are looking from 1 April 2027 for a committed, strong leader with expertise in social pedagogy as

The day centre offer of dreischiibe is aimed at people with mental difficulties who wish to find stability, orientation and social contacts through the daily structure. A visit to the day centre also serves as a bridge towards professional follow-up solutions. The focus is on social rehabilitation. As department head, you actively shape the professional and strategic development of the offer and contribute to the sustainable quality of the day centre.
Your tasks
- Professional, personnel and organisational management of the day centre
- Leadership and development of group leaders and employees
- Ensuring high-quality, pedagogical support for visitors
- Responsibility for offer development, annual goals, budget and key figures
- Further development of structures, processes and quality standards
- Collaboration with relatives, authorities, specialist agencies and referrers
- Strategic development of the daily structure without salary
- Participation in cross-departmental projects and leadership bodies
- Ensuring documentation and reporting
- Co-responsibility for a appreciative, participative and development-oriented culture
Your profile
- Completed degree or equivalent qualification in social pedagogy, work pedagogy or social work
- Several years of leadership experience
- Several years of experience in supporting people with mental impairments
- High social competence, resilience, decision-making and reflection skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to accept feedback openly and use it constructively
- Organisational talent as well as networked and entrepreneurial thinking
- Good IT user skills and confidence in reporting
