About the job
About the offer
Job description:
In your new role, your tasks will impact the quality of patient care. Your role will notably consist of:
- Clinical Expertise: you are the reference point. You implement best practices (Evidence Based Practice) and ensure that safety recommendations (Occupational Health and Safety) and hygiene (Hygiene, Prevention and Infection Control) are not just documents, but a lived reality on the ground. You supervise, train and support our team.
- Transmission & Coaching: in tandem with the ICS, you welcome and train new colleagues and support the development of all team members. You encourage questioning within the team and lead projects to develop innovative care techniques. You transform potential into competence.
- Management & Organisation: relying on performance indicators (such as ANAP), you participate in optimising the care offer. Requirements and interpersonal skills: demonstrate rigour, initiative and loyalty, while working as a team with flexibility and creativity, respecting confidentiality and institutional rules. You carry out your tasks in close collaboration with the nursing and medical team.
Required profile:
- A diploma in surgical instrumentation (qualified operating theatre nurse, operating room technician with solid experience in the operating theatre), ideally with a specialisation or a strong interest in training/quality.
- 5 years of experience in instrumentation within an operating theatre
- Mastery of the Swiss legal framework and safety standards
- Natural leadership: you know how to persuade rather than impose.
- Scientific rigour combined with practical pragmatism.
Why join us?
Here, we work "seriously without taking ourselves seriously". We offer you an environment where your autonomy is respected and where your care development projects will be supported.
As a true clinical specialist, in your new role, you can now invest yourself in the development and optimisation of care practices in the field of instrumentation.
