We are the leading specialist in Switzerland in the fields of agricultural machinery, professional lawn and green space maintenance, as well as forestry technology.

As part of digitalisation, Robert Aebi Landtechnik SA is establishing a national machine monitoring centre and thus developing a new proactive service in the Swiss agricultural technology sector, which does not yet exist in this form. The aim is to monitor machines, better support customers and sustainably strengthen the service.

For this new service, we are looking for a committed person for the position of

Machine Monitoring Specialist/Technical Support (m/f) 100%
Workplace: Regensdorf or anywhere in Switzerland (flexible)

You actively participate in the implementation of this new area and also support the technical service for John Deere tractors and harvesting machines. You combine mechanics, digital systems and customer service and contribute to the establishment of a new modern service in the agricultural technology sector. In this role, you act as organiser, technician, trainer, data and systems specialist, as well as contact person for partners, customers, dealers and Robert Aebi sites.

• Monitoring and development of the machine monitoring centre
• Management and assurance of data quality in digital systems
• Planning and follow-up of maintenance and intervention orders
• Collaboration with sites, dealers and partners for proactive service
• Technical assistance for complex technical problems (phone, email, remote tools, on site)
• Training and support for partners and customers
• Participation in system development in collaboration with suppliers
• Travel as well as participation in trade fairs and events
• On-call service and weekend work

• Training as an agricultural or construction machinery mechanic with a federal certificate of competence (CFC)
• Specialisation as a diagnostician or technician
• Professional experience in the field of agricultural or construction machinery, ideally with knowledge of the John Deere brand
• Interest in digital technologies and monitoring systems
• Experience in technical support is desirable
• Good IT skills (diagnostic and remote systems, MS Dynamics 365 an advantage)
• Independent and structured working method
• Team spirit and excellent communication skills
• Very good command of German or French as well as a good command of the other national language, English is an advantage
