As a contract manufacturer, Pontacol also produces special films for third parties.

Deputy Shift Supervisor Production 3 Shift (100%), m/f/d

Your main tasks

• You take over the technical leadership of the shift team in the absence of the shift supervisor – and embody a respectful, employee-oriented leadership culture.
• You ensure the smooth production process – for this you set up, operate and monitor the blown film extrusion machines as well as the finishing machines.
• You have an eye for quality and schedule management – under your supervision, our adhesive films are produced on time and to the highest quality.
• You value traceability – you carry out the documentation of quality checks and other required forms comprehensively.
• You ensure compliance with all internal guidelines and legal requirements – especially in the areas of machine safety, health protection, occupational safety, quality and emergency management.
• Order and cleanliness are part of occupational safety – you lead by example.
• You train employees at the machines, guide them and conduct training sessions.
• You and your team work closely with relevant interfaces.

Your profile

• You have a completed vocational training (EFZ), ideally in the plastics industry / technical vocational training.
• You already have several years of experience as a production employee, preferably as a shift leader or deputy.
• You have already worked in shift and/or night work and are ready for our 3-shift operation (Monday to Friday).
• You are technically interested and preferably have PC skills (SAP, Excel).
• You are considered a self-reliant, flexible and responsible personality with a structured, precise way of working.
• You communicate well in German, both spoken and written.
• You appreciate teamwork and actively pitch in.
