Head of Finance and Tax Administration (80 - 100%)

In this role, you will take on the professional and organisational leadership of the finance and tax administration and contribute significantly to the stability and further development of the municipality.

Your tasks

• Leadership of the finance administration
• Responsibility for budget, financial planning, and annual financial statements
• Preparation of financial reports and decision-making bases for the municipal council and administration
• Responsibility for financial and operational accounting of various accounting areas and organisations
• Ensuring payment transactions and liquidity management
• Responsibility for salary administration, social insurances, and payroll processes
• Support of budget and closing processes
• Advising authorities and internal stakeholders on finance-related issues
• Participation in the further development of structures, processes, and workflows
• Leadership and support of employees within the finance administration

Your profile

You have a solid education in finance and accounting and bring several years of experience in a responsible finance role. Applications from individuals with experience are especially welcome:

• in municipalities or public-law organisations
• in public accounting (HRM2)
• as head of finance, financial administrator, CFO, or a comparable role
• in budgeting, financial planning, and annual closing processes
• in leading employees and projects
