About the job
Activities- Case management and counselling of asylum seekers and refugees in the area of financial and personal assistance
- Provision of financial social assistance and asylum support according to SKOS guidelines and cantonal regulations
- Coordinating, clarifying and referring to specialised agencies for issues beyond own responsibility
- Developing and implementing measures for professional and social integration
- Complete and accurate case documentation in the case management tool
- First point of contact for support during the initial integration of clients (language, housing search, culture, work, etc.)
Requirements
- Completed degree in Social Work FH or equivalent qualification
- Preferably relevant professional experience, ideally in social assistance, asylum support or integration
- Cooperation and teamwork skills
- Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with people from diverse backgrounds
- Independent working style, initiative
- Advisory and high social competence, confident manner and assertiveness
- Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
- Impeccable reputation (no entries in debt enforcement and criminal records)
- German | spoken: C1 | written: C1
- English | spoken: B2 | written: B2
- Additional asylum-relevant language (advantageous) | spoken: B2 | written: B2
