In our used equipment workshop in Langenthal, you not only work on used machines but also act as an expert and appraiser, serving as the crucial link between the workshop, rental (Heavy Rent), and used equipment sales.
Construction Machinery Mechanic / Technical Expert for the Used Equipment Workshop & Heavy Rent

Your Mission
- You thoroughly inspect our Heavy Rent and used machines upon entry and exit, assess their technical condition, and accurately identify defects.
- You independently carry out repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and complex diagnostics using modern testing devices and software to restore used machines to top condition.
- You work closely and on equal footing with the used equipment sales and rental teams, supporting price and condition assessments and calculating necessary repair efforts.
- You prepare machines perfectly for redeployment or sale, order the appropriate spare parts, and document condition and work neatly in the system.
- Short decision-making paths and responsibility: You competently decide on-site how to restore a machine in the most sustainable and safest way.
- You share your experience within the team, learn something new daily about various machine generations, and celebrate successes together.
Your Background
- Completed apprenticeship as a construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or truck mechanic.
- Solid practical experience in repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting – with sound knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and modern diagnostic software.
- A certain flair for heavy construction machinery and the ability not only to fix faults but to understand causes and realistically assess machines.
- An open, appreciative manner on equal terms – both in conversations with your workshop colleagues and with colleagues from sales and rental.
- Driving licence category B (additional categories are a clear advantage).
