System Security Specialist (80-100%) - 1485

This is how you ensure electricity in Switzerland

In this role, you are jointly responsible for the system management of the central server, database, and virtualization infrastructure with a focus on information security and ensure the secure and efficient operation of the systems. You develop security architectures and implement security measures. Our central Cyber Security team supports you in this. You take on the following tasks:

• Link between Cyber Security and the Infrastructure Platform Services teams
• Proactive identification and assessment of cyber security risks for Platform Services
• Definition and implementation of preventive measures to prevent cyber security risks
• Continuous development of protective measures in close cooperation with the business and cyber security
• Creation and maintenance of concepts, guidelines, and specifications regarding infrastructure security
• Technical contact for information security questions in the area of Infrastructure Platform Services

We are looking for a communicative, team-oriented, and analytical personality who is not afraid of complex contexts and shares our passion for an agile working environment. You have a quick grasp and great motivation to work on new topics. In addition, you are characterized by your high understanding of dependencies between the various architecture components. You bring the following:

• Master's degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science with further training/certifications in the field of Cyber Security
• Several years of experience in enterprise infrastructure roles with a focus on cyber security or technical cyber security roles
• Solid experience in building, hardening, and operating enterprise Microsoft and Linux environments, databases, as well as virtualization solutions such as VMware, Kubernetes, Citrix, etc.
• Experience in offensive security (security auditing, pentesting, CTF... etc.) and know-how in securing Azure / Microsoft 365
• Knowledge in the area of cyber security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO / IEC 270xx series, NIST) and risk management
• Cooperative doer mentality and familiarity with and practice of agile working methods
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
