- Development and implementation of strategies for the sustainable advancement of business, portfolio, and market segments
- Monitoring the implementation of the corporate strategy as well as strategic initiatives
- Creation and preparation of high-quality documents for presentation at the Executive Board / Board of Directors level
- Strategic management and coordination of the RUAG-wide portfolio in coordination with the Business Areas
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Participation and strategy alignment on possible future scenarios through market and technology scouting and idea generation within and outside RUAG
- Cooperation with management, executives, and external partners to align development initiatives with the overall strategy
What you bring with you
- Completed education at a university of applied sciences or university, preferably technical and/or business administration basic education with relevant further training (e.g. CAS, MAS, MBA)
- Professional experience in a similar position of at least 2-3 years required
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills to develop courses of action and target images
- Ability to quickly grasp, structure, and prepare complex matters in a manner appropriate to the target audience
- Ability to integrate different interests at management and specialist levels to create viable decision-making bases
- Experience or understanding in leading cross-departmental strategic initiatives and transformation projects
- Experience in consulting is an advantage
- Negotiation-level proficiency in German, English, and French is an advantage
