The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. Around 260 employees shape everyday life in our homes at the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden. They ensure a high quality of life for the residents and thus make a valuable contribution to society. In the Ebnet house, right in the centre of Herisau, there are 48 rooms and apartments spread over three floors. The proximity to the village centre enables diverse relationships inside and outside the house.

We are looking immediately or by arrangement for an experienced, independent and calm personality with a heart for our residents as
Your demanding and varied tasks:
- You independently and reliably take on nursing and care tasks within your competencies – in the early and late shifts until 21:15, between Monday and Sunday.
- You support the residents in their daily activities and respond respectfully to their needs.
- You sensitively accompany the residents through everyday life and support their well-being.
- You pay attention to changes and pass on important observations to the team and report to the responsible professional of the day.
- You work appreciatively in the team and contribute to a positive collaboration.
Our requirements:
- You have completed the SRK course as a care assistant and have several years of professional experience in long-term care.
- You have good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1) and can communicate confidently and professionally.
- You work independently, reliably and responsibly and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
- You enjoy and care deeply about respectful and empathetic interaction with elderly people.
- You are a committed team player and contribute with your appreciative manner to a pleasant and family-like atmosphere.
