Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG is a company of Amcor Limited, one of the world’s largest suppliers of responsible packaging solutions. With around 300 employees, we refine aluminium foils and other materials into recyclable packaging materials.

We are looking for an independent and reliable

Mechanic (m/f/d)

to join our maintenance team immediately or by arrangement.

What you can expect with us

• Carrying out maintenance and overhaul work
• Troubleshooting in the mechanical area on production equipment
• Troubleshooting in building services (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary)
• Error analysis and initiating measures
• Participation in projects
• Preventive maintenance and ongoing optimisation of the equipment
• Manufacturing spare parts and assembly work

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training in the mechanical field, such as polymechanic, machine/ agricultural machinery mechanic or comparable, as well as professional experience in a similar position
• Knowledge in the areas of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience in milling, turning and welding
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Team spirit, flexibility and resilience as well as a reliable, team-oriented and independent working style
• You will work normal hours and also be deployed in the late shift (15:00-23:00) as well as on-call duty at night and on weekends. The shift model consists of five weeks of normal working hours followed by one week of late shift.
