About the job
What you will do here
- Teach in the Bachelor's degree programme in Automotive and Vehicle Engineering in the field of Mechatronics; deliver lectures in electrical engineering, electrical storage and converters as well as measurement technology
- Support students with project work and supervise theses at Bachelor and Master level; lead the E-Mobility LAB
- Independently acquire and conduct research projects in the field of vehicle mechatronics
- Initiate and conduct conferences, seminars and laboratory tours
- Support student recruitment and carry out public relations work, representing the department and BFH to interested parties and partners
What you ideally bring with you
- University degree in automotive engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering at MSc/FH/ETH level; many years of professional experience in vehicle technology
- Sound knowledge in mechanics as well as in electric drives, power electronics and electrical machines; solid professional skills in digital data processing
- Enjoy working with young students, teaching experience at tertiary level; the university didactics certificate can be completed internally at BFH
- Experience in acquiring and managing applied research projects, network in the domestic and/or international vehicle industry
- Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language (teaching languages German and French); English skills at professional practice level
