Your role and responsibilities 

In this role, you are responsible for all activities related to the handling of materials, semi-finished and finished products for their provision to production as well as in the warehouse. You ensure the proper handling and movement of materials for production according to specifications on a daily basis. In addition, you take on tasks in the area of warehousing and logistics and work closely with our internal production teams. 

Work model: On-site; Baden and Untersiggenthal 

This position is located in the Motion – Traction business unit in Switzerland. 

Your main tasks 

• Goods receipt activities from internal material deliveries and external suppliers 
• Sorting, storing and warehousing materials according to specifications as well as picking components for shipping and final packaging on pallets. 
• Carrying out logistics activities according to defined processes and quickly adapting to new or further developed workflows. 
• Operating various handling equipment such as forklifts or overhead cranes (up to 16t)

Every team member makes an important contribution to ensuring that our processes function reliably and efficiently while meeting the needs of various internal customers and stakeholders. 

Qualifications for the role 

• You have a qualification as a logistics specialist EFZ, several years of professional experience in logistics or production-related environments, and a SUVA-recognised forklift licence for counterbalance and pedestrian forklifts. 
• You enjoy working with warehousing and logistics processes in an industrial production environment and can quickly familiarise yourself with new workflows. 
• You have demonstrably worked reliably and independently and can organise your tasks efficiently in a structured environment. 
• You are proficient in using ERP/IT systems (e.g. SAP) as well as common computer applications. Experience with logistics software is an advantage. 
• You are characterised by a strong service and customer orientation and understand how to prioritise according to the needs of internal production partners. 
• You communicate confidently and fluently in German. Any additional language is a plus. 
• Knowledge of hazardous materials (ADR/IMDG/IATA) is highly recommended
