About the job
The Climate School program of the Winterthur association MyBluePlanet is an experiential multi-year climate protection and education program and label for Swiss schools. We are currently looking for a volunteer for school acquisition, starting immediately or by arrangement.
Your task:
You support the Climate School in inspiring schools in Switzerland for our educational program. Your main task is to contact school principals and teachers by phone, inform them about the Climate School program, and arrange appointments for presentations or cooperation talks. Your goal is to win schools for participation in our climate education projects.
You bring with you:
- Enjoyment of making phone calls
- Persuasiveness and a positive, professional demeanor
- Interest in climate protection and educational work
- Independent working style and reliability
- Good knowledge of German
We offer:
- Meaningful activity: You help ensure that more students gain access to practical climate education.
- Flexible scheduling: You can determine your working days yourself.
- Flexible workload: You can decide how much you want to support us in telephone acquisition. We can use any help, from one or two hours per week up to a 20% workload.
- Flexible workplace: You can freely decide where you want to work from. This can be, for example, from our HUB in Winterthur, from home office, or in co-working spaces.
- Integration into a committed team: You will receive training, regular exchange, and support from the Climate School team.
- Training and materials: We provide you with all necessary documents, argumentation aids, and a short training.
