Head of Realisation / Chief Site Manager 80-100%

Job description:

As part of the planning consortium consisting of BIG and IB, you will actively participate in the planning and realisation of the complex new building Dock A at Zurich Airport – a unique major project running over a decade that requires individual and innovative solutions.

As a certified site manager with site management experience in Switzerland, you will independently prepare specifications, manage the tendering and awarding process, and lead the realisation of the work on site from the start of construction to commissioning. Together with the project managers, you will optimise the construction process, create the schedule, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with contractual conditions.

What we expect from you:

• Training and experience as a site manager, structural technician, or architect
• Solid experience as Head of Realisation according to SIA standards in Switzerland
• Enjoyment of work and willingness to perform above average
• Good communication skills and assertiveness
• Independent, careful, and proactive working style with an eye for the essentials
• Very good IT skills with industry-standard tools
• Good German and English skills
