About the job

• Support the programme management and the team with content-related tasks as well as open and transparent communication
• Independent and responsible handling of administrative, organisational and supportive tasks according to the annual plan (including correspondence, appointment coordination, schedules, presentation organisation, minutes, social media channels and website)
• Central contact point for students and their concerns as well as interface between students and programme management
• Internal and external representation of the study area, e.g. during admission procedures, scholarship awards or presentations at preparatory courses, as well as mutual representation of the assistants of the BA VKD and MA Art Education
• Independent implementation of existing curatorial formats and special projects of the study area as well as participation in further formats in consultation with the programme management

• Completed studies in the creative artistic field or in art and cultural mediation, ideally with knowledge of the BA VKD and MA Art Education programmes at HKB as well as the higher education landscape in Switzerland
• Own creative artistic or mediating practice as well as sound knowledge in art historical and mediating discourse and interest in disciplinary issues
• Strong administrative and organisational skills combined with initiative, openness, curiosity, communication skills, organisational strength, flexibility and enjoyment of independent work
• Very good oral and written mediation, presentation and negotiation skills as well as confident expression in German and good knowledge of English and French
