Who are we?
The Mobile Judicial Unit (CELLIT) is organised around itinerant Judges appointed under Art. 10a LJ. Based in Fribourg, it provides assistance to various civil and criminal first instance judicial authorities of the State of Fribourg as cases are assigned to it, to alleviate the workload of these authorities, cover temporary staff shortages, or in cases of a magistrate’s recusal. Under specific circumstances, the Judicial Council may second it to a particular authority.

Your tasks
• Drafting judgements and decisions within the authority’s competence (civil and criminal law)
• Taking minutes
• Preparing judicial files and legal research
• Participating in deliberations, with consultative voice
Desired profile
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Swiss law
• Good writing skills
• Professional experience, preferably in a registry
• Good knowledge of IT tools, knowledge of Tribuna software is an asset
• Proficiency in French or German with very good knowledge of the other language (bilingual)
