Job Description
As part of strengthening a BI/Analytics team composed of about fifteen people, we are looking for a Senior BI Business Analyst to support the business units in formalizing their needs and enhancing data value.
Mission objectives:
- Collaborate with business teams to identify and formalize KPI and reporting needs.
- Write clear and actionable user stories.
- Actively participate in testing phases to ensure functional compliance.
- Optimize existing reports by challenging their relevance and usage.
- Document semantic models and key indicators.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and structure business needs precisely.
- Anticipate requests to streamline development cycles.
- Provide business expertise to challenge needs and propose high value-added BI solutions.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Proven experience in Business Analysis or BI development.
- Good knowledge of the insurance sector (Property & Casualty).
- Mastery of SQL and the Microsoft BI environment (PowerBI, SQL Server).
✨ Nice to Have:
- Experience with PowerBI, Databricks.
- Reading Python and DBT code.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, BigPicture).
Profile sought:
- 5 to 8 years of experience.
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
- Good communication skills and initiative spirit.
- Languages: Fluent French, minimum B2 level English.
