To strengthen our team in Lausanne, we are looking, immediately or by agreement, for a CIVIL ENGINEER SPECIALISING IN TIMBER
Mission:
- handling timber construction projects, from study to realisation
- developing load-bearing structure concepts and construction detail solutions that are economical and sustainable
- close collaboration with planning architects, engineers, and construction companies
- preparation of tender documents and site supervision
- searching for innovative timber and hybrid solutions
Desired profile:
- holder of an ETH or University of Applied Sciences degree specialising in Timber
- in-depth knowledge of timber as a material and its application in civil engineering
- good command of various software in the field of load-bearing structure analysis
- proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- interest and enjoyment in working interdisciplinarily on projects and in teams
- knowledge of SIA standards and Eurocodes
- dynamic, methodical, and rigorous personality, capable of working independently as well as in a team
