Caring for people in different phases of life
Collaboration with family systems and interdisciplinary teams
Main responsibility for the nursing process from admission to discharge
Supporting patients in their goal setting with all their knowledge and skills. Assistance in rapidly changing acute situations
Participation in the training of health care apprentices EFZ

Internship areas

You can complete the studies in the fields of somatics or psychiatry. We offer the following areas of deployment:

Medicine
Surgery (external internship at Stadtspital Triemli Zurich)
Palliative Care
Acute geriatrics
Psychiatry, gerontopsychiatry, mother-child department
Emergency
Endoscopy/Oncology

The full-time study lasts 3 years, the part-time study lasts 4 years (minimum 60% workload).

Requirements

Three-year vocational training with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)
or general education degree (technical secondary school, specialized Matura or gymnasium Matura)
