The La Pouponnière Foundation and the Abri in Lausanne aims to work for children, particularly young children and their families, notably by welcoming them in its nine institutions: five child life centers (CVE), two emergency reception boarding schools, the educational reception for mothers and children (AEME), the meeting space service unit (UPER).
To complete our team at the La Pyramide Boarding School, we are looking for a:
Educator in emergency reception boarding school at 80%-85%
Responsibilities
- Ensure the protection and well-being of a group of 10 to 12 children, aged 0 to 6 years and placed by the DGEJ or the SCTP
- Welcome and support children in their daily lives
- Observe and evaluate parental skills; ensure the relationship with parents regarding the daily care of the child
- Observe and evaluate the development of children and the parent-child dynamic
- Work in a network with various partners
Desired profile
- Degree in social education, childhood education, or another Bachelor’s or Master’s related to the field of activity
- Confirmed and recognized experience in educational work in boarding schools with children and their families
- Aptitude to work in a team and in a network in an emergency reception context
- Good personal organization, autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills, excellent adaptability and priority management
- Excellent listening skills and empathy
- Driver's license
- Clean criminal record
