Heating Plant Operator* Waste Incineration Plant

Tasks
- You control and monitor the demanding plant operation in a 3-shift system via the process control system (PCS), initiate measures in case of deviations, and keep a production log.
- You conduct inspection rounds and functional checks of individual plant areas, put individual subsystems or entire plant sections into or out of operation, perform plant shutdowns, and document your actions.
- You are the first point of contact for all kinds of information (alarms, malfunctions, events), handle these yourself or forward them, and request maintenance work using maintenance software.
- You are responsible for the acceptance of operating materials and for the loading of residues from the incineration process.
Profile
- Mechanical or electrical vocational training (EFZ level) as well as further training to become a heating plant operator* with a federal certificate of competence or willingness to complete this training with our support
- Several years of professional experience in shift work, preferably in the field of process engineering (thermal) plants
- Experience working with a process control system as well as good PC application skills (MS Office)
- Willingness to familiarise yourself with our complex waste incineration plant and the various processes, as well as enjoyment of an independent, responsible activity
