Project Manager Climate Protection with Focus on People and Society

Do you want a meaningful and creative role in the field of climate protection? In this diverse role, you will accompany the long-term climate strategy of the Canton of Zurich from the perspective of people and society and take responsibility, among other things, for the sector of nutrition and consumption. You will network with relevant stakeholders and actively advance the cantonal guiding principle of sustainable nutrition.

Your tasks

• Accompanying the long-term climate strategy and action planning from the perspective of people / society and supporting the further development of climate action planning
• Leading support and further development of the sectors nutrition and consumption
• Implementation and further development of the guiding principle of sustainable nutrition as well as cooperation with cantonal catering companies
• Possibly leading or participating in the area of decarbonisation of trade / industry
• Development, planning and implementation of communication, support and education measures

Your profile

• Social / societal sciences or psychological studies at master’s level
• At least three years of professional experience in the areas of climate protection, nutrition / consumption or sustainability
• Strong networking skills as well as written and oral communication skills in German
• High degree of initiative and responsibility
