What you can achieve
- You are responsible for the independent, correct, complete, audit-proof, and timely coding of inpatient cases based on the medical primary documentation
- You check the medical and nursing documentation for plausibility and completeness
- You actively contribute to exciting additional tasks related to medical coding – for example, in projects or in audit and rejection management
- You keep your expertise always up to date and continuously develop yourself both in the medical field and regarding coding and tariff regulations as well as current innovations
What you bring with you
- Physician with clinical experience or nursing professional with particularly solid clinical experience in patient care
- Ideally a federal specialist certificate in medical coding or practical experience as a medical coder
- Knowledge of clinical information systems as well as confident use of MS Office
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form are required
- Team-oriented and service-minded personality with an independent, efficient, and solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to continuously educate and develop yourself according to the requirements of medical progress and the DRG system
