Head of Finance

Your mission:

You are responsible for the operational management of the finance area and actively shape its further development during the upcoming ERP migration. Together with your team, you ensure correct financial reporting, the preparation of accounts according to Swiss GAAP FER (OR), proper bookkeeping and professional accounting in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central. As a sparring partner for the management, you contribute significantly to financial control and the ongoing transformation of the company. In doing so, you identify optimisation potentials, drive the digitalisation and automation of financial processes forward, and accompany cross-departmental transformation topics. With your experience and technical understanding of cross-system value flows, you ensure efficient processes, financial stability and a high level of service quality towards internal and external stakeholders.

Your area of responsibility:

• Leading the finance team
• Responsibility for periodic quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER (OR)
• Ensuring correct management of financial accounting with general and subsidiary ledgers including payment transactions and dunning
• Further development of the ERP system landscape as a key user with a focus on MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and all finance-relevant interfaces
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements
• Preparation and support of internal control system (ICS), audit and review processes
• Participation in and leadership of company-wide optimisation and transformation projects
• Promotion and development of employees in the finance area

Your profile:

• Completed commercial basic training or comparable education
• Further training in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate in finance and accounting, expert in accounting & controlling or comparable)
• Sound knowledge and several years of professional experience in financial accounting, accounting, financial statements and operational financial processes
• Confident understanding of tax, legal and regulatory requirements
• Experience in process development as well as in digitalisation and automation projects
• Very good ERP knowledge, ideally with Microsoft Business Central, as well as excellent Excel skills
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented thinking
• High personal responsibility, implementation strength and quality awareness
• High social competence and cross-departmental understanding
