Role:
As part of the engineering team, you develop and implement sophisticated control software for innovative special machines. You ensure the smooth operation of the automation systems from programming to internal acceptance. Your expert knowledge is required to continuously optimise the software platform and to provide technical support to the project team.
Responsibilities:
Development of machine controls in structured text (PLC, e.g. Siemens/Beckhoff)
Commissioning of the systems in-house
Configuration and calibration of all electrical components (e.g. motor controllers, safety systems, communication routers, HMIs).
Maintenance and creation of software documentation as well as active contribution to internal knowledge transfer.
Collaboration in the optimisation and standardisation of the existing software architecture (Siemens/Beckhoff).
Technical support for the project, production and service teams with all hardware and software-related challenges.
Qualifications:
Mandatory several years of experience in PLC programming with a focus on structured text.
Ideally knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCat3 and/or Siemens TIA Portal.
Excellent language skills in German and English, both spoken and written.
You bring a confident manner, flexibility and minimal willingness to travel.
Enthusiasm for technological challenges and complex, networked processes.
