Test Manager / Test Engineer 80–100% (m/f/d)
You think about quality from the very beginning, question requirements and ensure that our solutions not only work but also convince our customers in daily use.
As a Test Manager / Test Engineer, you take responsibility for quality assurance in our software projects. You plan and coordinate tests, develop suitable test strategies and conduct functional and technical tests yourself.
In doing so, you work closely with our customers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and development teams and continuously develop our testing.
This is your task:
- You plan and control the testing activities in our software projects.
- You develop test strategies, test concepts and suitable test plans.
- You derive structured test cases and test scenarios from requirements and acceptance criteria.
- You independently conduct functional, integration and exploratory tests.
- You coordinate system, integration, acceptance and regression tests.
- You document errors comprehensibly and accompany their resolution until successful re-examination.
- You ensure transparency about test progress, quality and existing risks.
- You support our customers in planning and conducting acceptance tests.
- You work closely with development, Product Owners and other project participants.
- You help us to continuously further develop our test processes, methods and tools.
- You drive the sensible expansion of test automation together with our development teams.
What you should bring:
- Training or studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
- ISTQB certification (ideally at Advanced Level)
- Several years of practical experience in software testing, quality assurance or test management
- Experience with structured test methods and different test levels
- Very good understanding of software development processes and complex applications
- Experience in agile software projects and working with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to critically question requirements and derive suitable test scenarios from them
- Experience with test management, ticketing and documentation tools
- Technical understanding and interest in not only finding errors but understanding their cause
- Knowledge in test automation is an advantage
- Independent, structured and quality-conscious way of working
- Enjoyment in collaborating with customers and development teams
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills
