Rotating Chef de Partie
Your Tasks
- Independent planning, preparation, and cooking of dishes in the hot kitchen, especially as an entremetier as well as for cold and hot free-flow buffets
- Flexible deployment on various kitchen stations and active support of the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Organisation of your own station including mise en place as well as ensuring consistently high quality in preparation, presentation, and serving of dishes
- Professional guidance and support of kitchen staff and apprentices in daily kitchen operations
- Compliance with hygiene, quality, and safety standards including the prescribed cleaning tasks according to the hygiene plan
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:00 or 07:00-16:00; occasional evening shifts during events by arrangement.
Your Profile
- Completed professional training as a cook with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
- Several years of practical professional experience in a professional kitchen
- Sound knowledge of vegetarian and vegan cuisine as well as enthusiasm for preparing varied and high-quality dishes
- Independent, flexible, and quality-conscious working style as well as willingness to take responsibility at different kitchen stations
- Strong service and customer orientation, team spirit, and enjoyment in working with diverse stakeholders
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as a valid category B driving licence
