Construction Employee, Cemetery Caretaker (100%)

For our Construction and Maintenance group and occasionally for our forest cemetery, we are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual starting 1 October or by arrangement.

Tasks

• Collaboration in the Construction and Maintenance group
• Collaboration in the Waste Disposal group (loader)
• Performing cremations
• Accompanying funerals and burials
• Maintenance and upkeep of the funeral and cremation building as well as the cemetery grounds
• Maintenance of the surrounding area
• Weekend duties for cleaning work including public toilet facilities
• On-call service in winter

Expectations

• Federal Vocational Certificate (EBA)
• Manual skills
• Empathy towards mourners
• Mental stability
• Very good German language skills required due to contact with relatives
• Ability to work and act independently
• Teamwork skills
• Willingness to work irregular hours and on-call duties
• Residence in the vicinity of Olten (regarding on-call duties)
• Category B driving licence required
