For the outpatient department of our Clinic for Visceral and Thoracic Surgery with a focus on the Obesity Centre, we are looking for a team-oriented, performance- and patient-focused Physician Associate from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
Who we are
Your tasks
- Organisation of consultations with interprofessional appointment coordination as well as triage of referrals
- Conducting consultations under the supervision of the physician
- Supporting the involved doctors and clinical specialists during consultations
- Coordination and review of preoperative assessments up to the date of surgery
- Organisation and monitoring of follow-up appointments including nutritional counselling
- Contact person for various concerns of patients and referrers as well as general practitioners
Your profile
- You have completed training as a qualified nurse FH/HF and have several years of professional experience, preferably in the surgical field
- Ideally, you have already obtained the Physician Associate qualification
- You enjoy working in a team and impress with your positive, pragmatic and proactive attitude and actions
- You are goal- and solution-oriented and accustomed to working responsibly, independently and flexibly
- You are a team-oriented, communicative and resilient personality who remains calm and keeps an overview even in hectic situations
- Working on the PC is easy for you and you are open to new things and see changes as opportunities
