We are looking for you as an experienced Tech Lead Hardware Engineering (m/f/d) to strengthen our R&D team at Xovis. You bring several years of experience in the architecture, design, and development of electronic devices, especially electronics. In a small, dynamic team, you are responsible for the overall development of new devices for our development sites in Switzerland and Germany. You work closely with electronics, mechanics, and optics development as well as internal production to optimally design high-quality products. Ideally, you have experience leading small teams and/or experience in technical project management.

What to expect:

• Development of new products from idea to series maturity with appropriate ECAD tools
• Development of solution concepts considering functional, manufacturing, and economic requirements
• Creation or review of manufacturing documents and technical specifications
• Assistance in creating the interface to mechanics and optics
• Technical contact person for the embedded software team
• Regular planning of available resources within an Agile Release Train (SAFe)
• Technical support of suppliers (international) as well as in-house production
• Support for measurement series and evaluation of new prototypes and pre-series
• You work cross-departmentally to incorporate all important inputs as much as possible

What you bring:

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in electronics development
• Solid knowledge in hardware design, especially high-speed design
• Solid knowledge in the use of ECAD systems (Altium)
• Experience in mechanics and optics is an advantage
• Preferably familiar with electronic or mechanical series production
• You are proactive, goal-oriented, and convince with a thoughtful and well-structured working style
• You work independently, are a doer, have a confident appearance, and a healthy assertiveness
• Good communication skills (German and English)
