The St.Gallen municipal utilities are the reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly the region in the supply of energy, water and fibre optics. Heating or Sanitary Installer (m/f/d) 80 - 100%
We actively shape the energy transition and are looking for a motivated person who wants to drive this change forward together with us.
This is what you will do:
- Creation and maintenance of house connections for water, gas and heat.
- New installation, maintenance and documentation of customer control systems.
- Welding work on steel and stainless steel pipelines.
- Installing and replacing metering devices (including smart meters).
- Carrying out periodic safety checks of visibly installed internal house pipes up to and including the metering device.
- Contact person for customers on site.
This is what you bring with you:
- Completed training as a heating or sanitary installer with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) and several years of professional experience in one of the two areas.
- Knowledge of pipe welding is desirable.
- Welding certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Driving licence category B and willingness for daily assignments in St. Gallen and surroundings.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Independent, precise and pragmatic way of working.
- Open and motivated personality with willingness to learn and team spirit.
- Ideas and creativity for the team.
