Alder + Eisenhut AG is the Swiss specialist for gymnastic equipment, climbing walls, grandstands and outdoor facilities. For the Seeland region, we are looking for you as a service technician with team leadership. You will be travelling in a fully equipped company vehicle in Western Switzerland and the Seeland area, taking responsibility for your two-person team and ensuring that sports facilities remain safe and operational.
Tasks:
After an intensive introductory phase with various service teams, you will carry out service work and repairs on gymnastic equipment, climbing walls, grandstands and outdoor equipment, mainly in the cantons of Bern, Fribourg, Jura, Neuchâtel, Solothurn and Vaud
You will be travelling together with your service colleague as a two-person team in a fully equipped company vehicle
You will take on the planning of assignments as well as the leadership of your service colleague
You will acquire customers and take on consulting and sales during the maintenance
You will maintain and monitor the spare parts inventory
Profile:
Completed vocational training in a craft or technical field, preferably in metal or wood (e.g. metalworker, polymechanic, locksmith, carpenter, sanitary or heating installer, bodywork tinsmith, car mechanic)
Ideally 3-5 years of experience in assembly and/or service; career changers with planning or leadership experience are also possible
You enjoy taking the lead, like customer contact on site and have an affinity for planning topics
Independent, quality-conscious and reliable working style with confident handling of PC/laptop
Good oral and written German and French skills
Team player, good manners and driving licence category B
Fear of heights free and physically resilient (partly working on rolling scaffolding); initial leadership experience is a plus but not a must
