To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced

Head of Welding Department (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility:

• Leading employees in professional and personnel matters
• Optimization and further development of welding processes
• Planning and control of production orders
• Technical support of employees as well as work preparation
• Continuous improvement of welding quality
• Monitoring of deadlines, performance, and quality
• Responsible for the supervision and training of apprentices in the department
• Representation of the company internally and externally with a focus on sustainable customer relationships

Your profile:

• Technical basic training preferably in the metal processing industry

(e.g. metalworker, polymechanic or plant and apparatus builder)

• Completed further training as a welding specialist IWS
• Several years of qualified experience in sheet metal processing and in leading employees
• Goal-oriented, structured, and consistent way of working
• Enjoyment in dealing with people as well as pronounced social skills
• Strong team and communication skills
• Empathy, reliability, and good self-management
• High motivation, above-average commitment, and loyalty to the company
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
