Department Manager Welding (m/f/d)
Your area of responsibility:
- Leading employees in professional and personnel matters
- Optimising and further developing welding processes
- Planning and controlling production orders
- Technical support for employees as well as work preparation
- Continuous improvement of welding quality
- Monitoring deadlines, performance and quality
- Responsible for the supervision and training of apprentices in the department
- Representing the company internally and externally with a focus on sustainable customer relationships
Your profile:
- Technical basic training preferably in the metal processing industry
(e.g. metalworker, polymechanic or plant and apparatus engineer)
- Completed further training as a welding specialist IWS
- Several years of qualified experience in sheet metal processing and in leading employees
- Goal-oriented, structured and consistent way of working
- Enjoyment in dealing with people as well as pronounced social skills
- Strong team and communication skills
- Empathy, reliability and good self-management
- High motivation, above-average commitment and loyalty to the company
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
