As a junior branch manager, you will get to know our company, our processes and the key success factors in the furniture trade comprehensively. During a structured induction and development phase of 6 months to 1 year, you will be specifically prepared for your future leadership role. You will get to know different areas and locations, work closely with experienced managers and be individually supported by our internal personnel development.

For this development phase, willingness to work across Switzerland and travel is required.

Your tasks

• Systematic preparation for taking over a branch management role
• A comprehensive induction and development phase over a period of 6 months to 1 year
• Conveying our most important business management key figures and internal guidelines
• Comprehensive insights into the leadership and development of employees
• Responsibility for the optimal staffing, control and further development of sales areas
• Successful implementation of our merchandising concepts in practice
• Active support in achieving our sales, turnover and company goals
• Gradual assumption of more responsibility with the aim of developing a strong leadership personality
• Close cooperation with experienced branch managers and practical insights into the operational management of a furniture store
• Getting to know different locations and operational processes within Switzerland during the induction
• Willingness to travel across Switzerland and work at various locations as part of training and induction

Your qualifications

• Professional experience in retail, sales or a comparable customer-oriented function
• Initial leadership experience or strong interest in a leadership career
• Success-oriented, implementation-strong personality with high self-motivation
• Practical and solution-oriented working style
• Business management knowledge and entrepreneurial thinking
• Strong communication and social skills
• Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
• High willingness to travel within Switzerland during the 6 to 12 month induction and development phase
• Regional and temporal flexibility
• Very good German skills; French skills in spoken and written form are an advantage or required depending on the area of deployment
