About the job
To complement our 1Fugu7 nursery team in Affoltern am Albis, we are looking for an intern 100% immediately or by arrangement.
1Fugu7 nurseries are a private operation aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our 1Fugu7-Huus is located in close proximity to Affoltern am Albis train station. In the child-friendly designed rooms covering a total of 440m2, we care for children from 3 months up to kindergarten age. Our cook provides delicious and healthy meals daily for the children and all staff. The nursery is organised into 4 groups. Opening hours are from 7:00 to 18:15.

Working with children is full of life and you will certainly never be bored. As an intern, you will gain your first experiences in the professional world. We accompany you on your path with care and empathy and support you with our expertise. You will learn the basics of childcare and will be allowed to take on increasing responsibility. It is important to us that your backpack is full of knowledge and experience by the end of the internship year. This way, you will be well prepared to start training as a childcare professional.
TASKS
- Assisting in the meaningful and appropriate organisation of daily life
- Supporting the group leader in managing the children’s group according to the pedagogical principles of 1Fugu7 nurseries
- Gaining first professional experiences under guidance
- Co-organising celebrations, festivals and events
REQUIREMENTS
- Completed compulsory schooling
- Joy and interest in working with children and in a team
- Very good oral and written German skills
- Reliable and resilient
- Self-reflection, willingness to develop further
- Good manners
