The Bienne Hospital Centre is expanding its ENT services, thereby creating new opportunities for modern, patient-centred outpatient care.

Within the ENT outpatient department, you will benefit from a varied and autonomous field of activity, with many opportunities to propose your own ideas and contribute to the design of the service. You will play a central role in the care of our patients, coordinate important processes, and independently conduct nursing consultations.

In close collaboration with the medical team, you will actively apply your nursing expertise to participate in the implementation and development of the ENT service. This is a new role that you can help shape and that will evolve with you.

Your tasks – our position

• You coordinate and plan the operating days of the ENT doctors at the Bienne Hospital Centre
• You independently conduct preoperative nursing consultations and support patients before and after outpatient surgical procedures
• You carry out preoperative information interviews, provide information documents, prescriptions, and consent forms, and act as the contact person for all questions regarding the upcoming procedure
• You support the medical team in the strategic development of the ENT service and actively contribute your nursing perspective and expertise
• You support your colleagues during their absences for holidays
• You take on project-related tasks within the development of the service and bring your own ideas to evolve and improve the service

Your skills – our expectations

• Completed training as a qualified nurse ES/HES
• High degree of autonomy and excellent organisational skills, as well as the ability to independently organise and structure your working day
• Sense of responsibility, reliability, initiative, and enjoyment in participating in the creation of new structures
• Excellent communication skills and empathy in contact with patients
• Good knowledge of German and French
• Good command of digital systems
