Employee Cleaning Practices and Institutes 100% starting 1 September 2026 or by arrangement

The Merian Iselin Clinic is a state-of-the-art private clinic with a public service mandate in Basel. Our focus areas are orthopaedics, surgery and urology. With us, you will find a meaningful role in a family environment where people are at the centre.

Your main tasks

• Carrying out all work in the practices and institutes and general areas of the clinic
• Ensuring order and cleanliness in the clinic
• Maintenance of the clinic surroundings including winter service
• Ongoing disinfections and isolation cleaning
• Adherence to hygiene principles
• Bed cleaning
• Waste disposal
• Setting up meeting rooms
• Professional execution of all assigned tasks. This takes place in the usual area of deployment as well as in supporting colleagues both within housekeeping and, if necessary, in other clinic areas.
• Economical and environmentally conscious use of materials, equipment, machines and products
• Internal material orders
• The deployment takes place in shift work as well as on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, including night shifts

Your profile

You have

• Professional experience in cleaning
• Experience in hospital and/or specialised cleaning is a great advantage
• A category B driving licence
• Good spoken German skills (speaking and understanding)
• You support the team through active collaboration and promote a good working atmosphere. Appreciative and respectful interaction and appropriate communication are a matter of course for you.
