Job Description
- You bear full responsibility (P&L) for the Controls Systems Services business area in the Customer Support Organization Switzerland – including cost control, margin, resource planning, and business development.
- You lead, develop, and manage a heterogeneous, larger team of service and modernization technicians and ensure that your team acts professionally strong, reliable, and customer-oriented.
- You take responsibility for the operational service business by coordinating deployments and resources, managing escalations, ensuring compliance with SLAs, prioritizing daily business, and ensuring smooth, high-quality 24/7 service operations.
- You ensure a professional and efficient service and project business – from troubleshooting to optimization and expansion measures to modernization projects on existing customer systems.
- You continuously develop processes, tools, and working methods based on customer feedback as well as quality and performance indicators.
- You work closely with the regional organization (e.g., Region Europe West) and the global Customer Service Organization to introduce and implement best practices, standards, development topics, and new business models.
- You are responsible for safety, work quality, and compliance in the technical service environment – to protect people, equipment, and systems.
Applicant Profile
- Completed technical basic training (e.g., automation technician, electronics technician, electrical installer), ideally supplemented by further education at HF or FH level in electrical engineering, automation, system technology, or industrial engineering
- Several years of successful leadership experience in technical service or in the automation/intralogistics environment
- High technical affinity for control and automation systems as well as willingness to be present, visible, and hands-on in the service environment
- Strong customer orientation, entrepreneurial thinking, and ability to combine operational urgencies with strategic development
- Very good German and English skills, ideally supplemented by French skills
