We are looking for a Head of Department Investment Procurement (m/f/d) for our Endress+Hauser Flow, who will drive the strategic development of investment procurement and actively shape the future of our production site.

Then this position offers you the chance to take on a central role in further developing our supply chain strategy. As Head of Department, you will lead a team of seven employees, work closely with strategic purchasing managers as well as technical and operational interfaces, and sustainably shape the procurement landscape within our Flow production center.

What tasks will you take on?
You will:

• take over the strategic and operational management of the Investment Procurement department – including leadership, coaching, and development of seven employees.
• shape the future of the department and further develop an innovation-oriented purchasing strategy.
• take responsibility for the alignment of category and supplier strategy.
• be responsible for suppliers at the Reinach site and support supplier development in the regions of China, India, USA, and France.
• work cross-departmentally with strategic purchasing managers as well as with construction, manufacturing, and industrial engineering departments.
• develop optimized processes and ensure the efficient integration of suppliers into project processes.

What do we expect from you?
You:

• have a university degree with a technical background – ideally complemented by management training (e.g., MBA, MAS in Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification).
• bring several years of experience in supply chain management of a manufacturing industrial company.
• have at least five years of leadership experience and proven success in team development.
• possess pronounced strategic, methodological, and innovative skills.
• have solid experience in project business as well as in indirect purchasing.
• bring very good German skills and business fluent English.
• convince with organizational talent, social competence, and healthy assertiveness.
