We are looking for an Order Handling Expert – 80–100% (m/f/d) to strengthen our expertise in order processing and SAP master data management at Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions. Digital Solutions drives the digital transformation within Endress+Hauser and supports our customers and colleagues worldwide with intelligent, connected solutions that make processes more efficient and sustainable.
What is this role about?
Do you enjoy processing customer orders precisely and efficiently while keeping an overview of the entire order process? Do you like working cross-departmentally with teams from purchasing, production, logistics, and sales, ensuring that orders are processed on time and smoothly?
In this role, you will take on a central function in order processing – from recording and checking the customer order to delivery. You ensure the quality of order data, coordinate the relevant internal interfaces, and keep an eye on delivery times, material availability, and possible bottlenecks. Furthermore, you take responsibility for the SAP master data processes and contribute to their establishment, documentation, and continuous development.
You will be an important contact person for key and end users and support them with questions regarding master data processes. Through your structured working style and strong communication skills, you make a significant contribution to efficient and reliable business processes.
What tasks will you undertake?
You will:
- Record and process customer orders in the ERP system (SAP)
- Check order data including prices, delivery times, and material availability and coordinate appropriate measures in case of deviations
- Monitor the entire order process from order receipt to delivery and ensure a smooth workflow
- Coordinate with internal departments such as purchasing, production, logistics, and sales and act as a central interface in the order process
- Coordinate solutions for changes in delivery dates, missing parts, and complaints and contribute to timely order processing
- Evaluate order status, throughput times, bottlenecks, and other relevant key figures and prepare corresponding reports
- Take responsibility for the SAP master data processes within your area of responsibility
- Establish, document, and continuously develop master data processes
- Ensure the quality and consistency of relevant master data and contribute to optimising the underlying processes
- Train, support, and be a competent contact person for key and end users in dealing with master data processes
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Have completed commercial training or possess a comparable qualification
- Bring at least 5 years of professional experience in order processing
- Have experience collaborating with various departments and stakeholders
- Possess solid ERP knowledge in SAP, ideally in the MM/SD/PP modules
- Have strong organisational skills and keep an overview even with several parallel tasks
- Work in a structured, reliable, and solution-oriented manner and implement tasks on time and efficiently
- Convince with strong communication skills, social competence, teamwork, and assertiveness
- Have pronounced problem-solving skills, especially regarding changes in delivery dates, missing parts, and complaints
- Enjoy actively shaping, documenting, and continuously developing processes
- Appear confident and service-oriented towards internal stakeholders and users
- Are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
