CNC Programmer/Team Leader Long Turning

Your area of responsibility includes:

• Creating and optimising CNC programmes for the production of precision turned parts
• Programming, setting up and optimising Star SB, Tornos GT and/or Tornos Nano machines
• Responsible for compliance with setup specifications
• Coordinating personnel resources and creating deployment plans for day and shift operations
• Professional guidance, induction and continuous development of team members
• Ensuring the flow of information and communication at all hierarchical levels
• Actively contributing and implementing ideas for process improvements and innovation

Your qualifications:

To be successful in this position, you have the following qualifications and skills:

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic
• Knowledge of Star SB, Tornos GT13 and/or Tornos Nano long turning machines and Fanuc control systems
• Programming skills in new part production as well as optimisation of CNC programmes
• Enjoyment and experience in leading CNC mechanics
• Team player, proactive person with very good communication skills
• High quality awareness and good eyesight
• Experience in a team leader role
