About the job
Our beautiful senior centre is located in a well-preserved village on the outskirts of the city of Zurich. We offer 90 seniors from our five associated municipalities a homely environment where individual and dignified care is guaranteed. We strive to provide our residents with more than just an ordinary stay.
We are looking to strengthen our small building technician team as soon as possible, as one employee is out for an extended period due to health reasons.
Building Technician (30% – 50%)
You will support your colleagues in building services in daily tasks or cover holidays.
Your responsibilities:
- Carry out everyday repairs or call in specialists
- Perform small gardening tasks or commission the gardener
- Cleaning tasks as part of building maintenance
- Monitor building services
- Provide technical assistance where needed by our residents or staff
Your profile:
- You have professional experience in a manual trade or have completed training as a caretaker
- You are characterised by empathy and social skills and enjoy working with older people
- You are flexible and willing to occasionally work irregular shifts as well as cover entire holiday weeks
- A recently retired person who feels very fit is also welcome
