Who are we?

The French-language Compulsory Education Service (SEnOF) is responsible for the pedagogical leadership and management of education at the various levels of compulsory schooling in the French-speaking part of the canton. It also oversees the pedagogical supervision of private schools and homeschooling.

Your missions

• Support and guidance for compulsory schooling partners (notably in the implementation of the PER, evaluation instructions and teaching resources), adult education
• Conceptual development and project management (fields of history, geography and citizenship for cycles 1 and 2)
• Collaboration with various bodies (chairing and participating in cantonal and Romandy working groups, cooperation with heads of other compulsory schooling fields, training centres, research and documentation)
• Carrying out various administrative tasks

Desired profile

• Primary teaching diploma (ENC, HEP bachelor) supplemented by a master’s degree or equivalent training
• At least five years of professional teaching experience
• Good didactic mastery in their field of expertise
• A proactive personality, able to collaborate, skilled in communication and responsible
• Additional qualifications or experience in adult education and training are desirable
• Fluency in French
