Job Description
In our Methods & Processes department, you actively shape the further development of our global supply chain. The focus is on analysing, designing and optimising existing and new systems and structures with regard to productivity, process stability and quality – always taking into account cost targets, technical requirements and customer demands. By using and further developing standardised methods such as MTM, Six Sigma, 5S as well as digital approaches (e.g. Digital Twin of Production), you drive sustainable efficiency improvements and operational excellence.
Your Tasks
- Analysis and optimisation of production and supply chain processes to increase efficiency, quality and cost performance
- Responsibility for target cost management as well as identification and implementation of cost reduction potentials along the value chain
- Conducting value stream analyses and deriving sustainable improvement measures
- Leading interdisciplinary projects in the field of operational excellence and actively implementing lean methods
- Preparing investment decisions through economic and feasibility analyses
- Further development of standardised methods, processes and digital solutions within the supply chain
Qualifications
- Completed studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable
- Several years of relevant experience in production, supply chain or operations
- Sound knowledge of lean management, project management as well as methods such as value stream analysis, FMEA, SPC (Six Sigma/MTM advantageous)
- Strong efficiency awareness as well as experience in cost calculation and target costing
- Very good knowledge of production processes (manual, semi- and fully automated)
- Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint), SAP (MM, WM, PP) as well as analysis and simulation tools
- Strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality and persuasiveness in change management
- Very good German and English skills required (min. B2/C1); French skills advantageous
