As Product Owner BSI, you are responsible for the further development of the central core application within the system landscape. You actively drive the solution forward, develop it strategically, and optimise it independently through targeted configuration. In doing so, you ensure that the system is optimally aligned with the needs of the users. With your commitment, you make a measurable contribution to increasing efficiency, consulting quality, and scalability.
Your area of responsibility
- You are responsible for the further development of BSI – including independent configuration and maintenance of the system to ensure stable operation
- You build, maintain, and continuously prioritise the product backlog and translate business requirements into clear features and user stories
- You gather requirements together with business, IT, and compliance, coordinate them, and actively support testing
- Coordination with internal and external developers as well as managing implementation in the Scrum team (e.g. sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) are part of your daily routine
- You consolidate different stakeholder needs, prioritise them purposefully, and take on the overarching coordination of all BSI developments in the project
- You are responsible for compliance with project governance processes (including testing and release management), ensuring quality, stability, and compliance, as well as monitoring time, costs, and scope – while actively maintaining the partnership with BSI
Your strengths
- You have a university degree in business informatics, computer science, or business administration and bring several years of experience as a Product Owner at a Swiss bank or asset manager
- Additionally, you have already gained experience in implementing BSI projects and ideally hold a BSI Masterclass certification
- You are also well versed in requirements engineering, backlog management, testing, as well as IT architectures and system landscapes, and have gained insights into project management
- Your working style is characterised by analytical and solution-oriented thinking, combined with strong decision-making and prioritisation skills
- With your strong communication and moderation skills, you navigate stakeholder management confidently and impress with your pronounced team spirit
- Flexibility, resilience, and a high office presence (at least 4 days per week) are natural for you; you have native-level German, strong English skills, and ideally knowledge of Italian or French
