WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE

As a Delivery Manager (all genders), you are the pivotal point for our IT projects. You manage the end-to-end delivery, lead your tech team, and ensure that we deliver to our customers on time, within scope, and on budget.

• Customer focus: You are the central interface, maintain trusting stakeholder relationships, and proactively manage expectations and escalations.
• End-to-End Delivery: You are responsible for the entire service lifecycle from initiation to completion – including project, time, and resource planning.
• Quality & Risk: You ensure compliance with agreed SLAs and KPIs, monitor project progress, and mitigate risks early.
• Leadership: You lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional tech team and foster a collaborative high-performance culture.
• Finance & Contracts: You manage budgets, keep profitability in view, and confidently negotiate scope changes.
• Process Optimisation: You drive best practices (Agile, ITIL, DevOps) forward and continuously develop our service delivery framework.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

• Solid education: For example, a degree in computer science or a related field such as business forms the basis.
• Leadership skills: You already have experience leading heterogeneous teams in a similar environment.
• Industry-relevant professional experience: You have at least 6 years of experience with an IT service provider and are well acquainted with processes, solutions, and services.
• Technical affinity: High IT and technical affinity as well as a sense for new topics and trends in digitalisation.
• Work style: You like to work towards concrete goals and act very solution- and customer-oriented.
• Recruiting know-how: You know how to attract committed employees who fit us and our customer projects.
• Communication: You communicate gladly, appreciatively, and appropriately for the target group and are solution-oriented as well as helpful.
• AI competence: You have in-depth AI expertise, actively shape its responsible use in your area of responsibility, and act as an enabler for customers as well as internally at adesso.
• Language skills: Your very good German and good English skills enable you to communicate confidently.
