About us
We are the Market & System Optimisation (OX) department. We act as an interface between market and system operation as well as market and system strategy. The task of OX is to identify optimisation potentials in operational and development processes and to develop scalable solutions that increase the security and cost efficiency of grid operation. This includes, for example, optimisation of the grid controller or improvement of operational planning in grid operation.
In addition to developing products for grid operation and planning, OX is responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and projects in the departments. This is done by promoting agile and iterative project planning, capturing and interpreting KPIs, integrating AI in development, and providing high-quality data products. All this is achieved through close collaboration with other departments at Swissgrid.
